Manchester Bach Choir welcomes everyone who has an interest in, and experience of, singing a full range of classical and light choral music . . . we sing choral music with a particular focus on Bach, sacred choral works, and reflect the seasons in the theme of our concert programmes. We perform to a high standard and have a friendly but hardworking atmosphere.
We love to sing!
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings, at St Alban's Church in Offerton (on the east side of Stockport) from 7:45pm to 9:45pm, mostly during term times.
We are always keen to recruit new members and at the moment are keen to welcome more tenors and basses.
An audition is not required, although previous singing experience is preferred. Although the ability to sight-read music is not essential, it can be very helpful.
